Michela (Kela) Perkins

Director of Admissions & Graduate Support

Kela joined our Covenant Prep team in Fall 2021 as the Director of Admissions, High School Placement, and Graduate Support after five years of business management. Kela received her Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Assumption College in Worcester, MA. She then completed a year of service through the Jesuit Volunteer Corps as a teacher at Most Holy Trinity School in San Jose, CA. Kela went on to receive her Master's Degree from Central Connecticut State University in Counseling with a focus in Student Development in Higher Education where she graduated at the top of her class. Kela has previously worked in elementary education for the towns of South Windsor, CT and Newington, CT and for the University of Connecticut in the Division of Student Affairs. Outside of work, Kela enjoys game nights with her family, reading and cooking with her husband.
